What's the best way to travel to Meribel?

The popularity of Meribel as a winter resort means that there is no shortage of transport available. Depending on where you are travelling from, you have a variety of options.

BY CAR:

Driving from home gives you the flexibility to travel at your own pace and bring as much luggage as you need. Meribel is approximately 600 miles from the channel ports and is served by motorway to within 12 miles of Meribel. View Googlemaps to plan your route. We can advise about parking in Meribel for all our chalets. Chalets Quatre Meules and Pasarale benefit from some garage parking under the chalets.

BY AIR:

A selection of airlines fly to Chambery, Geneva, & Lyon airports, airport transfers are available by private transfers and some shared transfers from Geneva airport, or you can hire a car if you prefer.  If you are hiring a car remember to ensure your vehicle is equipped with snow tyres and/or snow chains.

AIRPORT TRANSFERS:

We can recommend various transfer companies who offer reliable private and shared services to Meribel. Please contact us to discuss your transfer requirements.

Once you have chosen the most suitable option to meet your requirements we suggest book directly with your chosen transfer company. Here are some of our recommendations:

Snowdrone
Snowbound
Pleisure
G'Taxi

BY TRAIN:

Train services are available from London St Pancras to Moutiers, via Lille or Paris with SNCF services. Ski Cuisine can advise you about taxi transfers from Moutiers station directly to your chalet, travel time is approx. 30 minutes from Moutiers station to your chalet.

ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE DAY:

We kindly ask that you depart from your chalet before 10am, this is necessary so that the chalet can be deep cleaned and therefore we require the chalet is vacant before the next guests arrive.

We are unable to provide changing or bathroom facilities once you have departed the chalet by 10am

On arrival day guests are welcome to arrive from 5pm

In order that chalets can be prepared and ready for your arrival we appreciate your understanding and co-operation.
