Ski holiday checklist

01 March 2017

It’s almost time for your Ski / Snowboarding holiday and you’re ready to pack your things and head to the slopes! To give you a hand, we’ve put together a checklist of things to consider packing or do before you get here.

Clothing for the slopes

If you are going during the colder months, remember to wrap up warm. You will get warm whilst you're skiing or snowboarding but it'll be cold when you're waiting for the Ski lifts.

  • Baselayers / thermals
  • T-shirts
  • Fleece
  • Salapettes
  • Ski jacket
  • Snood or scarf
  • Headband if your head or ears get cold
  • Ski helmet – you can hire this if you don’t have one
  • Thick socks
  • Ski gloves
  • Sunglasses
  • Suncream

Clothing for ground level

  • Your normal clothes / loungewear or perhaps you might want to dress smartly in the evenings for dinner.
  • Sturdy shoes for walking on snow and ice.

Book or hire in advance

  • Skis or snowboard
  • Ski boots
  • Ski helmet
  • Ski and lift passes
  • Ski lessons
  • Any restaurant bookings

If you require guidance on any of the above, we are happy to help along with any special requirements that you may have.
