Situated in the heart of the world’s largest ski area, Meribel’s reputation has been built on its extensive skiing & snowboarding and breath-taking scenery. The charming alpine resort spans the mountainside, with its lift system stretching up to an altitude of 2952 metres.

The sprawling and highly efficient Three Valleys' lift system, consists of over 200 ski lifts, connecting eight resorts, so skiing here will offer you something new every day. You are sure to find a suitable run, no matter your ability. Gentle beginners ski slopes line the lower valleys and more challenging blue, red and black runs can be found at the higher altitudes with dramatic views of the surrounding mountains.

In the Three Valleys area you will find:

600km of piste in the Three Valleys area and 7 black runs, 23 red runs, 34 blue runs, 9 green runs & 31.5 km of cross country runs just in the Meribel valley
with over 1250 snow canons you are guaranteed snow throughout the season
two snowboard parks with half pipes, quarter pipes and a variety of jumps
85% of the ski area above 1800 metres
mountain restaurants with spectacular views offering great food and drink

Activities in Meribel
Meribel is the largest of the villages in the Three Valleys and offers plenty of alternatives to skiing and snowboarding, such as horse-drawn sleigh rides, dog sledding through the forest, paragliding, ice-skating, snow mobile hire and swimming & spa at the local sports centre. A bi-weekly market can also be found in Meribel centre so you can choose from local products & produce and enjoy food or drink in one of the many bars or restaurants.
